Dear St. James Family and Friends.
We are facing many challenges right now, and it’s easy to grow weary without the regular rhythms of the church—gathering for worship, Sunday School, Wesley Groups, and countless other ministries. The staff continues to explore new and creative ways for our church family to stay connected in a time of social distancing.
We have started meeting again in- person on Sunday mornings. At 9:30 am, we offer an outdoor worship service. It is geared toward families, but all are welcome. At 11:00 am, we offer the traditional indoor service. There are a number of safety protocols in place, including administering temperature checks and hand sanitizer, and requiring masks to be worn throughout the service (disposable masks are available). To make a reservation, click HERE. We are also offering an online service each week. Whatever option you choose, we hope you are blessed through prayer, the public reading of God’s Word, songs and singing, and the teaching of God’s Word from our pastor and other church leaders.
At this time, Sunday School classes and other ministries are not meeting at the church. This includes daytime and evening Bible studies, as well as committee meetings and other gatherings at the church. In August, we hope to launch a Bible study via Zoom. If you would like more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The church office is open, Monday-Thursday, 9 am – 5 pm. If there is anything we can do for you or your families, please call the office at 706-548-1680, or email email@example.com. Be assured of our prayers for you as you navigate new work environments, school plans, and day-to-day routines. The Lord bless you and keep you.
