May 6, 2021
Dear St. James Family and Friends,
We are pleased to report we are returning to some of the regular rhythms of the church—gathering for worship, Bible study, and Wesley Small Groups for adults, youth, and children. The staff continues to explore new and creative ways for our church family to stay connected.
We are meeting in person on Sunday mornings—at 9:15 am on the lawn, and at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary. As of May 6, 2021, masks are optional at all services, classes, and gatherings (disposable masks are available). In addition, there are hand sanitizer stations at the entrances to the building. The 11 o’clock service in the Sanctuary is being live-streamed via Facebook—click here to watch. (Please note: You do not need a Facebook account to access the service.) Whatever option you choose for worship, we hope you are blessed through prayer, the public reading of God’s Word, songs and singing, and the teaching of God’s Word from our pastor and other church leaders.
In addition to Sunday morning worship services, we offer various discipleship studies and activities throughout the year. Some of the studies are available in both in-person and Zoom formats. For more information, e-mail email@example.com.
Sunday School is also now meeting from 10:10 until 10:50 in their respective classrooms.
We believe community is best developed as people study God’s Word together and seek to apply the Gospel in their daily lives. Our Wesley Small Groups are designed for this type of community. Groups meet throughout the week with daytime and evening options. For more information click here.
In His Word, God says, “my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples” (Isaiah 56:7). The Sanctuary is open for prayer every Wednesday, 11 am – 1 pm. Come as you are, and stay as little or as long as you like. We are simply offering a holy space for you to connect with God as you pray through needs in our church family, our community, the nation, and the world.
The church office is open Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 5 pm. If there is anything we can do for you, please call the office at 706-548-1680 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
